Why San Juan Island Sailing Foundation? Commitment! The Sailing Foundation members are important in many ways. They can serve on the board, become volunteers and provide annual dues and contributions needed for operating funds. Committed members are an essential source of the voluteers who perform the numerous tasks that assure the success of our activities. For example, many person hours are necessary to deliver a fleet of boats and associated equipment, to prepared supporting facilities at a scheduled time. Volunteer tasks range from a few hours per year to ongoing positions on the board.
